Yes, you can only do this, but only while configuring the backup.\u00a0If you have already configured the backup without encryption, you must drop\u00a0it and configure a new one again to set your own encryption password, by uninstalling C-Cloud\u00a0(Make sure the\u00a0Keep C-Cloud\u00a0settings (Recommended if you want to reinstall) <\/strong>option\u00a0is not selected) \u2192\u00a0Reinstall it and reconfigure your backup.<\/p>\n

Also, if you are a C-Cloud\u00a0Business user and want to set your own encryption password,\u00a0and you have a policy assigned to you, then let your admin enable this option for you by doing the following:<\/p>\n

  1. Sign in to your C-Cloud\u00a0online account.<\/li>\n
  2. Refer to the\u00a0Polices\u00a0<\/strong>tab.<\/li>\n
  3. Create a new policy or edit the existing one.<\/li>\n
  4. Go to the Settings\u00a0<\/strong>tab.<\/li>\n
  5. Under\u00a0Security Settings<\/strong>, check the box next to the option\u00a0Allow user to set encryption password before initial backup.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. Save the changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    After that, in order to\u00a0set your encryption password:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Download C-Cloud\u00a0setup and then install it.<\/li>\n
    2. Sign in to your C-Cloud\u00a0account or sign up for a new account if you are a Home user and this is the first machine that you are backing up.<\/li>\n
    3. In the third step in the backup creation wizard, click on\u00a0Change<\/strong> beside the Security Options<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    4. From the opened window, select\u00a0Use my own password<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    5. Enter the password and repeat it in the Confirm Password <\/strong>field.<\/li>\n
    6. Save your settings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
