  1. Sign into your C-Cloud\u00a0online\u00a0account<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. From the Dashboard<\/strong>\u00a0click on Download C-Cloud<\/strong>\u00a0button in order to download the setup file of C-Cloud on your machine.\"\"<\/li>\n
  3. Run the downloaded setup file and follow the onscreen steps in the installation wizard.<\/li>\n
  4. Select the data that you want to back up. You will have three tabs to select from:\n

    1. Smart Selection:<\/strong>\u00a0Contains various\u00a0built-in plugins that you can use to back up some of the most important items\u00a0on your computer.\"\"<\/li>\n
    2. My Computer:<\/strong>\u00a0Allows you to back up\u00a0files and folders from any location readily accessible from My Computer<\/strong> using\u00a0an easy to use Windows Explorer-like interface.

    3. Cold Storage:<\/strong>\u00a0Extremely low cost storage that provides an optimal, secure, and reliable storage solution for data that is rarely accessed. The difference between Cold storage and\u00a0Instant\u00a0storage is, data takes 3-5 hours to be restored.\"\"<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      • Specify your backup settings:\n
          \n
        • Run on Schedule:<\/strong> Set how often you wish C-Cloud to back up your files.<\/li>\n
        • Security Options:<\/strong>\u00a0You can keep it disabled to\u00a0Use C-Cloud\u00a0internal encryption algorithm<\/em>, or to enable\u00a0Using your own password<\/em>.<\/li>\n
        • Bandwidth Throttling<\/strong>: Enable this option to limit the upload bandwidth allowed for C-Cloud\u00a0to use, this option will NOT give the full speed potential of C-Cloud, but if you can enable it if you wish to upload files or use your upload bandwidth with other Tools\/Programs.<\/li>\n
        • Hybrid+<\/strong>: C-Cloud\u00a0Hybrid+ doubles your backup protection by creating a copy of every backed up file to a local server, external or network drive; ensuring faster recovery when needed.\"\"<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          If there is a policy assigned to the user that you are installing C-Cloud on his\/her machine, then once you install the setup file and sign in to the user\u2019s account, the backup will start automatically without the need to configure it manually.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
