By default, C-Cloud supports backing up PST files while they are open. To add more file extensions to the list of the files you wish C-Cloud\u00a0to back them up even if they are open, please apply the following:<\/p>\n

Method 1: From your computer<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Right-click on the C-Cloud\u00a0icon in the system tray, and select the Open Dashboard<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n
  2. Click on the Settings<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n
  3. Refer to the Advanced Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. In the input box of the VSS Extensions<\/strong>, type the extensions of the files\u00a0you wish C-Cloud\u00a0to back them up even if they are open.<\/li>\n
  5. Save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Method 2: From C-Cloud\u00a0website<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Sign in to your\u00a0C-Cloud\u00a0online account<\/a>.<\/li>\n
    2. Refer to the\u00a0Policies<\/strong>\u00a0tab.<\/li>\n
    3. Select to edit an existing policy<\/a>, or go ahead and create a new one<\/a>.<\/li>\n
    4. From under the Extensions<\/strong>\u00a0tab, and in the\u00a0Add VSS extensions<\/strong> box,\u00a0type the extensions of the files\u00a0you wish C-Cloud\u00a0to back them up even if they are open.<\/li>\n
    5. Click the Save<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
